I hope you will enjoy this visit and come back again to learn a bit about me and my passion for writing for children. My books, ON THIS FARM THERE WAS A NOISE and GRANNY LOUISE were inspired by my grandchildren and grandmother…so of course they are dear to my heart. I hope they will find a home with you.
Both books were written, illustrated, and published here in eastern Carolina. (Onslow County) I have enjoyed visiting schools to read these stories, and seeing how teachers use these books in their classrooms. And of course, I’m excited that the children enjoy them. Both are parent/teacher friendly as a read aloud or for independent readers in first or second grade.
